About Our Club

Rodbenders of St. Louis, Missouri is a local B.A.S.S. federation club that was formed on November 15, 1984. The club was formed on the values, traditions, and history of B.A.S.S.  This club was also formed to give the members a competitive bass fishing environment that encourages fun and friendly atmosphere.  Our club has a large number of longtime members, all with a desire to help other more inexperienced fisherman learn the basics of how to pattern fish under a variety of conditions.

Rodbenders is a partner club, that competes for tournament purses. Each boat competes for tournament day winnings and Big Fish prizes. Individual day weights are cumulative towards year-end totals for the top six to ten spots in the club standings to enter the Missouri B.A.S.S. Federation Tournament. An Angler-of-the-Year award is also given to the most consistent angler and is based on a point system determined from results from each tournament.

The Rodbenders hold a annual fall classic for all eligible anglers at the end of the season. This is a two day draw tournament that's always full of surprises. big time food, a little cards, and bunch of fun.

Trophies are given at the end of the year for top angler, for big fish of the year, and the Classic Champion.
