| The first tournament
of year got off to a hot start in pre-fish with lots of quality fish being
caught but the cold reality March changed conditions and few fortunes when
practice turned into the real deal. Anglers woke up Saturday
morning to a thick
layer of frost on their boats and temperatures in the mid-20's. A cold front, high skies, and
crystal clear water didn't make for ideal conditions but everyone
persevered and of the 14 boats that took off from Spring Creek all but one weighed fish. Final Results: 1st Place: Williams and Long 6 lbs 1.4 ozs. 2nd Place: Anderson and Anderson 5 lbs 14 ozs. 3rd Place: Dick and White 5 lbs 14 ozs. 4th Place: Hilleman and Clasen 5 lbs 2ozs.
